Company History

Established in 1980, American Thermal Instruments is a privately held company based in Dayton, OH. We specialize in microencapsulation, liquid crystal thermometers, and temperature indicating devices. Our approach to the markets we represent allows us to deliver custom solutions and be challenged on a continuous basis.

We began our journey as a small manufacturing company and have assumed a major role in the cold chain market. Our focus is now on the transportation of temperature sensitive products along a supply chain through thermal and refrigerated packaging methods and the logistical planning to protect the integrity of these shipments.

The Certiscan Handheld Reader saves money in labor and data retrieval. Similar to a barcode reader we can read the tag inside a box from 5" away and go as deep as 30" inside the box. The tag inside the box is read within seconds and sends the information and colorful graphs back to your computer. Thousands of tags can be scanned and uploaded. You don't have to connect each logger to a cradle or plug each USB into a computer.
