Objective

Create a promotional label that would attract attention if applied to a full page magazine advertisement.

Strategy

Using liquid crystal technology a label was created so that the slogan “Ready to Buy” would appear when pressed by the reader’s warm finger.

Implementation

The Quality Team worked closely with the editors of Ebony Magazine to manufacture 4.7 million thin labels that would be easily applied to thin single magazines pages.

Results

Jeep sales increased following the release of the monthly issue and the brand continues to grow in popularity.
