Setting the strategy for American Thermal, Randy is passionate about leveraging new technologies to help our customers solve unique business challenges through innovative temperature monitoring solutions. When he isn’t thinking about how to make our clients’ lives better, Randy enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife, two sons and daughter, or fishing in remote locations. Randy holds degrees in Business, Finance and Economics.
Tim is the president of American Thermal Instruments. His graduate degree is in Chemical Engineering and he also went on to earn his MBA. Tim is striving to establish an entrepreneurial organization with a vision toward being a recognized global technical leader in delivery systems technology. In his free time, Tim enjoys running and spending time with his wife and four sons.
Dr. Carl M. Lentz holds a B.S. in Chemistry from James Madison University and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the John Hopkins University. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Lentz is able to identify product opportunities through building new technology platforms onto existing core technology capabilities, and has been successful in capturing strategic value from incremental innovation. In his free time, Dr. Lentz enjoys spending time with his family, including his young grandson.
Marvin founded ATI over 30 years ago. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton, and a graduate degree from Ohio University. He is also on the Board of Trustees for paper science at Miami University. As a young kid, Marvin would always wonder – what’s over the next hill, what’s in the next city, what’s in the next state and what’s in the next country. Marvin has traveled the world extensively, meeting people from all different backgrounds and cultures. He is, by nature, an inventor and an innovator. He started this company with the same curious mindset. Marvin’s creative and curious personality sets the culture at ATI. He’s always thinking outside the box, trying to develop new products, new technologies and new solutions
Bill has over 30 years of diverse manufacturing experience in management, value added services, traffic, warehousing, training, and safety. Bill received his Bachelors Degree in Organization Communication along with an Associates Degree in Science. In his free time he enjoys sports, camping and spending time with his wife, 4 children and 2 granddaughters. He is also a proud community Blood Center Donor, 6 gallons achieved and counting!
Marcia brought a wealth of experience from the pharmaceutical industry when she joined ATI in 2000. This included an in-depth knowledge of microencapsulation and cold chain requirements. Marcia is always glad to meet and talk with you about your cold chain concerns, over the phone, at your business or at various cold chain conferences and events. When Marcia isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband of over 20 years and her two furry kids!
George has been with American Thermal Instruments since 2014 and is an expert in temperature monitoring for our Food and Industrial Industries. George has 10 years of experience in the packaging industry prior to ATI. George attended Mt Union College where he earned a B.A. in Communications and won back-to-back football National Championships. Outside of work, George enjoys spending time with his wife, reading, and doing fun activities with his two young children.
Renee has over 20 years of experience in the label manufacturing industry. She has a strong manufacturing background and has vast experience in purchasing, accounts receivables, accounts payables and customer service. Outside of work, Renee enjoys spending time with her husband and three children as well as being an avid runner.
